Sitting in my lonely office trying to figure out how to keep the Family and My Work afloat. I see how the Economy is in a depression state here. Most of my clients are closing their doors, or just not wanting to continue their support contracts with my company. Over the past year, I have dwindled down to 2 or 3 business that us my services from 20 - 30. This is making it difficult to provide income for my family. But there is a delima, my right knee is not up to working a full time job. But I think that it is the only option at this point. Just grin and bare the pain and do what needs to be done. Because I dont think that its going to get any better for me with the pain in the knee.

(For Those Who Don't Know) I have had 3 surgeries on my knee due to a fall while on duty with The American Red Cross in Raleigh, NC during the 2005 State Fair. The fall tore the Meniscus and cracked the knee cap. 2 surgeries by Wake Orthopedics in Raleigh, NC to no avail. Hired the Director of the Duke Sports Medicine Center at Duke University Hospital, he preformed a third surgery on the knee and put me through hours of Physical Therapy and I still have sever pain. I feel that I will have to under go yet another surgery that I feel may not help. This injury prevents me from doing most exercises which I need to be doing to help with other conditions I am faced with. High Blood Pressure / High Cholesterol / Diabetes [Type 2, Adult Onset]. I have a disability on the let but have not found what 8% Disability is good for. If you know what its good for please let me know.

So as you can see, I am in an big catch 22. I need to work, but don't think I can do it full time. I only know Computer Related work. IE: Networking / PC Trouble Shooting / Virus Removal / Spyware Removal, etc...

I hope this New Year 2009 will hold a better outlook for work for me.
